Your analytics dashboard is tailored to the specific topic you are currently looking at. Each chart shows a high-level overview of a different set of data. Clicking on a chart will allow you to depict and tailor the data in various ways.
Mentions
This chart shows the total number of mentions of the issues in your topics across the political landscape. Clicking on the chart will allow you to change its timeframe, as well as filter mentions by party, region, parliamentary position or contribution type.
Tweets
The Tweets chart shows Tweets and Retweets from parliamentarians over time. As with Mentions, click on the chart to change timeframe, as well as filter Tweets by party, region, parliamentary position or contribution type.
Sentiment snapshot
PolicyMogul uses natural language processing to analyse the sentiment of each contribution by MPs and peers in Parliament and on Twitter. By analysing tens of thousands of contributions, we can accurately identify sentiment on any issue. Each pie chart you see shows a breakdown of sentiment for your topic over the last 90 days, based on party, region, parliamentary position or contribution type.
Sentiment changes
This chart shows how sentiment with regards to your topic has changed over time. Green indicates positive sentiment, and red indicates negative sentiment. The bigger the spike or bar, the higher the net number of positive or negative contributions for that timeframe. Chart data can be broken down by party, region, parliamentary position or contribution type.
Top MPs and peers
This chart shows a quadrant of the most interested and influential MPs and peers based on the topic currently applied. Those nearest the top are the most influential, and those nearest to the right have the greatest interest in the subject.
Hover over a stakeholder to see the basis of their interest and influence on the topic, and click on them to see the breakdown of their relevant contributions. Clicking a stakeholder's name in the chart data will take you to their profile where you can see their specific contributions relevant to your topic.
